Reliable Detection of DDoS flood attacks remains a focus and a challenge issue in the field of Intrusion Detection. Since Real-Time Traffic Capturing is crucial to the Intrusion Detection System,this paper proposed the principle and the realization of Real-Time Traffic Capturing and Decoding of Raw Traffic Data. We emphasized on the mechanism of packet capturing based on LIBPCAP and realized the Real-Time Network Traffic Capturing and Decoding of Raw Traffic Data based on GUI interface.
