A Feature Extraction Algorithm of Ear Image Based on LBP and DLDA

This paper put forward a new feature extraction algorithm of ear image based on LBP and DLDA algorithm.The irrelevant of the gray scale integer transform and the local texture feature extracting performance make the LBP algorithm have great advantage in ear image feature extraction.The algorithm based on LBP and direct linear discriminant analysis have distinct advance than the extraction algorithm using the original image in recognition rate.
