Permission Control Algorithm for SVC Streaming Based on Network Coding

A novel permission control algorithm for SVC streaming based on random linear network coding is proposed in this paper,with comprehensive consideration of network coding technique and SVC technique.An encryption algorithm based on global encoding kernel and a hierarchical authentication algorithm are introduced.The algorithm,with the advantages of low computational complexity and easy implementation,is described in terms of packet encryption and allocation respectively.The simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
