STUDY ON FAULT DIAGNOSIS OF COMPLEX EQUIPMENT BASED ON COMBINING ANN WITH CBR

The characteristics and complementarities of artificial neural network ( ANN) and case-based reasoning ( CBR) are analyzed in this paper. According to that,a fault diagnosis model for complex equipment is designed based on the combination of ANN and CBR. The ANN method is integrated into several procedures of CBR,including fault case base classifying,case retrieving and case revising,which better resolves the fastness and accuracy issues of fault diagnosis of complex equipment. The validity of the scheme has been attested through the diagnosis simulation of fault instances of radar intelligence integrated electronic information system.
