A Study on Virtual Property Theft

The online game industry has already become an important part of network economy.The scale of virtual property is large and has been brought into scope of tax collection objectives.Cases of stealing virtual property of network game users happen frequently,and the harm is the same as or even beyond that of traditional theft crimes.Although there are controversies about the applicable laws of virtual property theft within both academic and practical law field,the author believes that the regulations of theft crime in our country's criminal law can be employed to handle this kind of cases.
