Study of a New Phase Detecting Algorithm and Its Error Characteristics

A new algorithm was designed based on combined thinking. It is shown that frequency-domain characteristics of the evaluation function are improved apparently, comparing with tradition algorithm. Analysis of the combined algorithm demonstrates that the algorithm is insensitive to small detuning errors and high-level even harmonics. The test results confirm the theoretical predictions.
