Achieving Distributed System Adaptability with Coordination Model
Min Wang · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2007
The paper presents a dynamic and real-time coordination model by researching on autonomous entities, which can change their interactive behavior and real-time constrain behavior in distributed systems. The two different categories of active entities are separated from traditional autonomous entities based on the separation of concern principle, namely, temporal coordination which is responsible for accomplishing real-time behavior, and communication coordination which is to coordinate communication among activities, which solve adaptability and dynamics of distributed systems in open distributed environment. Finally, the model is implemented by using the java message service technology and the EJB technology, and an application in the car navigation system is given.
