Research on Application of RSVP in Digital Video Transmission

The applications of internet digital video require IP can afford enough bandwidth, higher priority and lower packet loss rate. For this, IETF is developing a set of protocols and standards for integrated services on the internet. Using RSVP to manage the allocation of network resources in order to provide different levels of service is a topic of great interest to service providers. This paper discusses how to connect RSVP with typical digital video transmission scheme,and provide a more stable and fluent performance on current QoS-supported network.
