Application of Data Mining Technology in Face Recognition

Face recognition is a subject which covering several fields.The paper puts forward a method which uses the technique of data mining to face recognition,primarily is to make use of the attribute relevance analysis to analyze the attribute of face characteristics.As a result,getting the order of distinction degree of attributes from strong to weak and this can be used to face recognition selectively.At the same time,testing the order by Knearest neighbor classifier which is also comes from data mining and the result proves the correctness and feasibility of this method.
