Intelligent fault diagnosis(IFD),that is a knowledge-processing based fault pattern recognition of artificial intelligence field,can supply favorable technical support for continuous normal operation of industrial equipment.Firstly,the significance and the basic concept of IFD are presented;then,the principles,applications,advantages-disadvantages and improvement methods of several intelligent diagnosis approaches are summarized,which are widely utilized currently.Finally,analysis and future development of intelligent fault diagnosis technique are prospected,as well as the option advise.
