Test Method about the Consistency between Laser Printed Images and Monitor Displayed Images

Objective To study the practical test method on the consistency between laser printed images and monitor displayed images. MethodsTo measure the density and brightness of laser printed and monitor displayed SMPTE card respectively using densimeter and photometer,then to make corresponding curves and compare them.To modulate laser printer parameters to reach the index consistency between the two different SMPTE cards.Results To measure the density and brightness of SMPTE card respectively after changing width and level and make corresponding curves,the two group curves are fundamentally same.Conclusion It is a feasible and reliable method to test the consistency between laser printed and monitor displayed images with the help of SMPTE card.
