On Commutativity of Orthogonal Projections

In this paper,we mainly discuss on the commutativity of orthogonal projections on a complex separable Hilbert space.Using the technique of block operator matrices,we invertigate characterizations for commutativity of orthogonal projections.Moreover,spectral and range characterizations are obtained.Meanwhile,we give some applications depending on these properties.
