An Adaptive Rate Transmission Based on Streaming Technology and MPEG-4

This paper advances an improved adaptive arithmetic of MPEG-4,in allusion to resolve the problem of lose pack and asymmetry delay phenomena in streaming transmission. This method changes step size dynamically based on the feedback of prediction error. It has the merit of flexible adaptive capacity. Much emulate experiment validate,this method can distinctly improve the adaptive rate transmission of streaming media.
