The Design of Heterogeneous Dual-Channel Net-RAID Systems

In order to solve the server bottleneck problem of traditional network storage models, this paper presents a new network-attached disk array storage system based on heterogeneous dual-channels. By separating data flow from command flow, it changes the traditional way of transfer focusing on the server to a new way focusing on data. It solves the server bottleneck problem of traditional models, improving the data transfer rate of the whole system.
