UCA Based 2-D DOA Estimation of Multi-Source Multipath Signals

Temporal smoothing technique can be used to deal with the DOA estimation of coherent signals,but the existing methods are only suitable for one-dimension direction finding.In this paper,a temporal smoothing UCA-ESPRIT algorithm is proposed,which is based on uniform circular array(UCA) and can find all the two-dimension directions of arrival in coherent signal environment.The number of wavefronts that can be estimated is much more than that of the elements.The computer simulation proves the validation of the proposed method.
