Joint Source-channel Decoding Based on HMM and LDPC

The using of source residual redundancy have been proven to be one critical technology in Joint source-channel coding and decoding.In this paper,Baum-Welch algorithm is used for obtaining the redundancy of Hidden Markov Source,which is transfed to LDPC for iteractive decoding as the external information.The simulation result shows that the method can enhances the performance of error-correcting and speeds up the convergence.
