Application of OTN Technology in Large Local Network

This paper describes first the application and development of ONT technology by telecom operators,including transition from trunk transmission network to local transmission network.This paper focuses on the application of OTN technology in large local network,and with OTN electric crossover system and ROADM system,various networking schemes under different scenarios could be produced.Several typical application scenarios,advantages and disadvantages of the model are studied and analyzed in combination with specific examples,thus some suggestions in network planning and construction are summarized,and these could provide certain correct guidance for telecom operators in their OTN network construction.
