The System of Re-collecting Printer Data basing on CPLD

A method basing on CPLD for re-collecting printer data is proposed. The working principle and several kinds of printer controlling languages are introduced firstly.Basing on FPGA and SCM,the hardware for collecting the printer interface data is devel-opd,and the software with function of re-collecting data which can only be printed formerly is also designed for data processing in the following experiments.The developed system has been successfully applied to data re-collecting of spectrum analyzer in the auto-control experiments and has achieved significant result;with proved simple structure, reliable performance and low development cost, the system can also be used on other devices with similar LPT.
