Virtual View Maintenance of Information Grid

In the layered resource space model of information grid, the virtual view layer directly reflects industrial users’ request of resourceaccess. To access resources using virtual views, users must guarantee the validity of mappings between the metadata of virtual view layer and logicalresource layer. Unfortunately, evolution of the metadata of logical resource layer may invalidate such mappings, and users can not get expectedresults by using virtual views. This paper discusses different types of the resource layer changes. Then it proposes adapting algorithms to preservethe affected virtual views.
