A Symbol Synchronization Scheme for QAM Signal

Symbol synchronization is one of the most important processes that all digital receivers have to achieve. It is of great significance to find an algorithm which is simple, small in calculation and high in estimation precision for QAM signal demodulation. Based on the maximum mean power estimate algorithm, this paper describes a united estimation algorithm; and analysis on capability of the algorithm is also presented.
