On the Vehicle and Pedestrian Identification with Bayesian Classifier in Intelligent Traffic System

Based on the minimum risk Bayesian classification theory,this paper designs a car classifier,which is simple in design,efficient in operation and sensitive to the choice of characteristic parameters.The car classifier and the linear classifier are respectively applied in the simulation experiments of Intelligent Traffic System of video image in vehicles and pedestrians identification.The results of experiments verify that the effect of Bayesian classification is better than that of linear classifier.
