The Application of Image Processing Technology to the Characteristic Parameters of Cellulose Fibers

This paper introduces dynamic thresholding to deal with the problem of uneven light, unfocused area existed in the longitudinal image and solved the problem of crossed fiber on the basis of curve fitting and special intersection. The double-scanning algorithm enhances the accuracy of transverse scans of fibers and some effective characteristic parameters using in automatically identifying cellulose fiber were got.
