Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) are resource-limited networks, especially the resources of energy.Using mobile sink as a solution for collecting the data is an effective way of improving network performance. In this paper, firstly,we analyze the Mobile Element Scheduling(MES) algorithms such as PBS.Subsequently,a new energy and delay aware Hierarchical Data Collection based on Clusters and Mobile sink(HDCCM)algorithm is presented which computes the path of mobile sink basing on cluster, not basing on every sensor directly.Lastly,a simulation to analyze and evaluate their performances is implemented. The result show that the proposed algorithm not only can enhance Quality of Service(QoS) perfromances such as delay and data loss rate, but also has excellence flexibility to networks topology and size.
