THE SITING OF QINSHAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

This paper briefly describes the siting of Qingshan Nuclear Power Plant,the first 300MW PWR unit of China.The conditions of geography, geology, seismography,hydrography,communication, power network and environment of the site are described and certain evaluations are made to point out the main reasons for selecting the site.Brief introduction of general layout of the plant is also included.
