Construction of 3-band Compactly Supported Orthogonal Interpolating Scaling Functions

An approach to the design of a three-band scaling function is proposed with the compact support,the orthogonality,the regularity and the interpolation.The Walter's sampling theorem for the wavelet subspace in the three-band case is used to reconstruct the signal quickly and accurately on the multiresolution space without any truncated errors.
