Design of High Speed Frequency Hopping Synthesizer Based on AD9854

The paper introduces the composition and the operation mode of frequency hopping(FH)communication system and the design requirement of frequency hopping synthesizer.According to the design requirement of frequency hopping synthesizer,an implementation method of a high speed frequency hopping synthesizer based on AD9854 is introduced in this paper.Multi-pattern frequency hopping signal with multiple hopping rates can be generated under the control of CPU and FPGA.This design is applicable in many situations.
