APPLICATION OF INVERSION METHOD IN IMPROVING SLGNAL-NOISE RATIO OF SEISMIC DATA

Xingyao Yin · 2001

The t-x prediction filtering is a common and effective noise attenuation method. When there are parallel events in noise background, it will produce spurious events, wavelet distortion and amplitude attenuation because the existence of noise can effect the calculation of the filter. The inversion method can overcome the shortcomings of t-x prediction filtering method. It was proved by theoretical and real data processing. This method is favorable for high resolusion, large signal to noise ratio and perfect fidelity.
