Research on the decoding algorithm for double-binary Turbo code

Double-binary Turbo code is one of the FEC methods for multi-carrier OFDM physical layer of 802.16 standard which supports the WMAN.It has many advantages compared to the classical Turbo code,such as higher encoding efficiency,better error-correcting performance for the equivalent implementation complexity and lower decoding latency.The feature of the encoder structure for double-binary Turbo code is introduced and two decoding algorithms are deduced in detail in this paper,while the simulation results are given as well.
