Space-Time cooperation in Wireless Communication
Xirui Guo · Communications technology · 2007
The multiple-input multiple-output requires more than one antenna at the mobile terminal. Unfortunately, this is impractical in wireless cellular system due to size, cost and hardware limits. To solve the problem, a new diversity technique called cooperation diversity is proposed. Coded cooperation can achieve better performance in slow-fading scenario than in the fast-fading scenario. This paper presents a extension of the coded cooperation framework, and then discusses the space-time coded cooperation and adaptive space-time coded cooperation in the fast-fading scenario.
