Semantic-oriented Web RDF data processing and application
Chong Chen · Journal of Shenzhen University · 2005
A system for aquiring, storing and utilizing RDF (radio direction finder) data from multiple agents was presented. The data acquisition agent collected information from the Internet, and extracted the metadata about Web contents. The metadata in RDF was stored in an XML(extensible markup language) database or a relational database by the sorting agent. The reasoning agent performed semantic matching on user supplied key words to pull matching records. The query agent, accepted user input, drived the search engine to access the RDF database and returned matching records to customers. These four agents completed the Web semantic information retrieval services system.
