Reconstruction of the Education Experimental Synthesis Device on Non-ionic Surfactant

In the course of educational experiment on the synthesis of non-ionic surfactant,in order to reduce the depletion on ethylene oxide and save experimental cost,an educational experimental device with the function of enduring highpressure and little reaction mass was constructed by refitting a 250mL high-pressure reactor.In order to verify the function of the experimental device,lauryl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether was synthesized by it.The experimental results show that it is possible to dominate reaction temperature by controlling the temperature of oil bath.When the amount of initial mass is 8～10 g,the temperature of oil bath is 120 ℃～160 ℃,the reactor goes on successfully,but the optimal temperature of oil bath is 150℃.With the rebuilt device,the consumption of ethylene oxide can be greatly reduced,and the educational cost is decreased.
