OLAP queries using material views

The improvement of the performance of the OLAP queries is the key problem in the data warehousing research area.When the data warehouse builds on the traditional DBMS answering the OLAP queries using the material views becomes the most suitable method.It us discussed that to rewrite the OLAP queries using the material views in order to improve the performance.A method to choose the optimal one is presented when more than one material view is available.
