Inhibition Effect of Baicao Jiangzhiling on Cholesterol Biosynthesis in Cells

Objective To study inhibition effect of Baicao Jiangzhiling on cholesterol biosynthesis in CHO cell.Methods The amphoterin B cell model was set up,survival rate of CHO cells were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results The result indicated that survival rate of CHO cells which were pre-incubated with Baicao Jiangzhiling and simvastatin increased,showing significant difference ( P 0.01),compared with control group.Conclusion The effects of Baicao Jiangzhiling on preventing hypolipidemia relate with reducing cholesterol biosynthesis.It is suggested that Baicao Jiangzhiling could inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis in cells.
