Selecting COM thread model is an important part of server component development since server component will be accessed by multiple concurrency users and thread model has much greater influence on distributed server application. Yet it is rather difficult part of COM component technology because of varied reasons. COM thread model is tried to introduce clearly by clarifying easily confused terminologies. And further, the summary how to apply proper thread model in COM+ server environment.
