we pay emphases on how to maintain no-loop topology structure and how to decrease farthest the transmitting delay in a switched Ethernet.We put forward a Spanning-Tree Protocol based on negotiation(STPN).A tree is created and maintained by the switch for every VLAN according to the mark affiliated in BPDU.It can cut down the delay from the block state to transmitting state obviously and improve the real-time characteristic in the Ethernet.The couumication between VLAN is realized through muliti-layer switch.The velocity of convergence in STPN is faster.It can decrease the transmitting delay at the port of switch and improve the real-time characteristic in the switched Ethernet.
