College Physics is one of the required courses for EEE students.Since very wide basic knowledge and different demands for different majors' students,it's very hard to teach if we don't know the major of our students. In this paper, three examples are given to show that teaching according to the major of students is very important.Firstly,by narrating nature of light, quantum physics is introduced very quickly and easily, which can make our students know matter wave theory very simply and well.Secondly, filter effect in film interference gives two basic concepts of EEE,center wavelength and band width.Lastly, numerical simulation of Biot-Savart law lets our students know the distributing law of magnetic intensity around a finite length wire with electric current. At the same time, this simulation brings up their basic abilities and major capability of EEE students.
