Decision support system based on CBR for vessel collision avoidance

Based on the characteristics of vessel collision avoidance, the case-based reasoning(CBR) technology is combined with the decision support system for vessel collision avoidance. In order to improve the system performances, the expressions of the cases are optimized. The collision situations are classified first and case matching is made by using search tree. At last, the feasibility of this method is discussed.
