Study on Periodical Shelving Based on Three Time-limits Method——Taking the Library of Jining University as an Example

The three time-limits method is a method for organizing the periodicals according to periodicals' features of users' utilization laws. The method,which divides all collected periodicals into three parts of periodicals of current issues,scattered periodicals of back issues and bound volume of back issues,has good flexibility,and is beneficial to the improvement of the utilization rate of periodicals. Taking the library of Jining University as an example,this paper introduces in detail its periodical shelving based on the three time-limits method.
