A Study on Estimation of Seed Germination Rate by Excellent and Good Extent

Through contrast experiments about the excellent and good extent and germination rate of 154 lots of 7 main forestry tree species of Yunnan Province, Cupressus duclouxiana ,etc.,an apparent correlation between excellent and good extent and germination rate have been concluded,thereforea a straightline regressive equation has been established,and the seed germination rate can be estimated in one day according to these equations.Showed below are the specific equations: Cupressus duclouxiana type: y =-0.36+1.00 X ; Pinus yunnanensis type: y =-5.80+0.88 X ; Pinus armandii : y =-27.6+1.16 X .The difference between the estimated seed germination rate and the practical germination rate is less than permitted difference in GB 2772-1999.
