Copyright Collective Administration Organizations and the Dilemma of Copyright Protection

A collective administration is one of the most important means of regulating copyrights.There are five copyright collective administration organizations in China today.The problems which copyright collective administration organizations are facing include the following aspects:(a) the scope of administration overlapped;(b) the charging method is controversial;and(c) the distribution of the copyright royalties is disputable.It is necessary to perfect the system of collective administrations by ways of perfecting the means of licensing and distributing royalties,regulating reasonable standards of royalties' extraction,and introducing the anti-trust regulations in the field.
