THE REALIZATION OF GPS RECEIVER'S SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS IN THE ENVIRONMENT OF VC~(++)6.0

Firstly, this paper simply introduces the basic concept of GPS receiver's serial communications. Then with practical examples, it discusses two methods for transferring data between computer and GPS receiver in detail. The one is to use the way of file reading/writing of Win32 API communication functions, and the other is to use the MSComm controls provided by VC ++ 6.0.
