Decomposition and Quantization of the Characteristic Waveform of Speech Signal

As one of the current most potential low bit rate speech coding schemes, waveform interpolation model with its high performance has been paid more and more attention. The existing methods for the decomposition and quantization of the characteristic waveform, based on WI speech coding, are concluded and analyzed comprehensively in this paper and the paper will be an important reference for the researchers in this field.
