ADS8344 and Its Application in Signal Process of Electronic Transformer's High-Voltage Side

The electronic transformer is a new transformer instrument in measuring and protecting the current and voltage of power system,by fully utilizing today's signal process and fiber communication technology.The ADS8344is an8-channel,16-bit,low power dissipation,high precision Analog-to-Digital converter by Texas Instruments.The TMS320LC545is a16-bit,lowpower dissipation,high speed digital signal processor by TI company.The main characteristics of ADS8344is introduced,and the interface design between ADS8344and TMS320LC545in signal process system of electronic transformer's high-voltage side is given.
