Research on the Application of Explosive Network in the Shaped Charge Warhead

With respect to the problems of that the shaped charge warhead currently uses the cover method to improve the armor-piercing power,a method that uses an explosive network technology as a detonation mode of the shaped charge warhead was introduced.In the context of some shaped charge warhead,a synchronous explosive network prototype was designed according to structural parameters of some charge,such as the liner and main grain.It can be known from the performance comparison test that the explosive network can be used to not only stably detonate,accurately control and achieve the perfect shape of explosion wave,but also largely improve the armor-piercing power and stability.Experimental results show that the explosive network technology is one of the most effective methods through which the armor-piercing power is improved.The results of the research lay a solid foundation for the engineering application of technology in the shaped charge warhead.
