Experimental research of junior middle school students' self control training

Objective To intervent on the experimental class of each grade of junior middle school with the self-control course training in order to provide basis for junior high school to carry out self control training. Methods Self-control ability of junior middle school students were measured by a self-control questionnaire before and after the experiment. Results Statistical analysis showed that there were significant grade differences in self-control ability of junior middle school students( P 0. 05),girls' self-control ability of three grades were higher than boys and there were significant differences( P 0. 05). After the experiment,there were extremely significant difference in self-control value-added scores between experimental class and control class students of three grades( P 0. 01),but there was no significant difference between experimental classes of all grades( P 0. 05). Conclusion Self-control level gradually decreases along with the increase of the grade of junior middle school students,the girl students' self-control in the junior middle school was significantly higher than the boys in the same grade. Self-control training can significantly improve the junior middle school students' self-control level,but no significant difference exist in grade of the course intervention.
