Hainan CORS System Construction and its Application in a Conventional Survey

The construction background and the basic principle of Hainan Continuous Operational Reference System( HiCORS) are introduced along with the principle of Virtual Reference Station and each parts' function. The technical requirements of HiCORS's application in traditional survey is studied. The application and measurement technology requirements of HiCORS in traditional geodetic measurement,control measurements,cadastral and parcel survey,digital topographic surveying,construction land boundary survey,construction lofting are discussed in details. Finnally the basic conditions for network RTK technology requirements for observation and the advantage of network RTK over traditional RTK technology are summed up.
