For the users requirement of arriving at destination with the shortest time,this paper developed urban public transport inquiry system which is convenient for user and can lap vector maps through integration without sew with popular programme language.MapObject control is adopted and GIS software development technique is integrated in this system.This system regards Dijkstra algorithm as the basic theory to select the shortest path,so it can find out the shortest path linking the two points,the speed is added twice compared same kind system with it.This system provides the passengers with visual graphic information about bus stops and routes.Given the origin and destination of your trip,the system will offer the optimum travel solution on the basis of system running data.Public transportation manager can make appropriate adjustment about stops and routes so as to improve managing efficiency of road net in city.
