Use of Variable Fuzzy Sets Method for Evaluating Groundwater Quality

Evaluation method based on variable fuzzy set theory is proposed to judge rank of groundwater quality.The method can scientifically determine relative membership functions of disquisitive indexes at level interval that relating to groundwater quality.According to importance of indexes,the weight values of indexes are determined by duality comparision and quantitative analysis.And then the rank feature values of evaluation for groundwater.Quality is obtained.The case study shows that the proposed method is simple to be calculated and is practicable to be used,and as a result the evaluating achieves a high reliability.
