Dam failure at Shihuie reservoir

An introduction was made on the dam failure process and organization of rescue work at Shihuie reservoir.Starting from the problems existing in the course of project construction and management,the author analyzed the causes for the dam failure,summarized a lessen from it,and put forward some issues in need of special attention for reservoir construction and management.
