Research on the method for sensor fault diagnosis

Nowadays, fault diagnosis for sensors is a hot field under investigation. In this paper, not only the method of sensor diagnosis based on model but also the method based on uncertainty-model is introduced. The former contains kalman filter and multiple-hypothesis-based testing which are deduced particularly from theory. The sensor diagnosis method based on neural network is introduced carefully later. At the same time, their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed and compared. Finally, the trend of fault detection and diagnosis method is discussed.
